General Information

The 2008 Summer League has now finished. The 2009 League will be starting in June.

The Guildford Summer Volleyball league is open to players of all standards and will take place in Stoke Park on Thursday nights in June, July and August.

No prior volleyball experience is necessary as coaching will be available on the evening. All you need is to be enthusiatic and prepared to have some fun.

Player rankings are based on the average of your best performances so it doesn't matter if you miss a few weeks or are late starting..

If league is cancelled for the evening due to bad weather it will be posted here and text notification sent to all registered players

Brief Rules

Teams will have between 3 and 6 players on court.

Teams will be determined for each match based on current player rankings and ability

Players can be male, female, any age

Each evening teams will play four 25 minute matches

Final Ranking of players will be determined by average of results on evenings attended, it is not essential that players attend every evening of the league.
